Welcome back to another edition of Wonfes Wishlist! We got a lot of really nice surprises, especially from the GoodSmile conglomerate, in the last Wonfes so the expectations are quite high for this Wonfes. So without further ado:

Assassin of Red from Fate Apocrypha

Assassin of Red

Luth: Gift showed a surprise sculpt in the last Wonfes of Jeanne de Arc from Fate Apocrypha as the Ruler class. I took a quick look at some of the other character designs and Semiramis, Wise Queen of Assyria as the Assassin of Red looked pretty awesome. That crazy dress and hair would make for a really cool sculpt, especially by Toda. Also, they need to hurry up with that Saber Bride.

Zai: Totally agree on hurrying up with Saber Bride, where is she? We need her to complete out Gift Saber collection! Assassin of Red looks pretty badarse and I think she’d make for a wonderful figure too, she’d fit right in with the rest of our collection. That hair would look downright amazing done right.

Yuzuruha from Muramasa

Yuzuruha

Luth: I mentioned this wish last year and still wishing for it. Monohime and Kongiku were excellent figures but for nitpicky reasons we didn’t get them. I’ve finished the game recently, loved it, and would like a figure from the series that really shows George Kamitani’s style. Alter have been really good about it so far and I think Yuzuruha would be the character that makes me bite. C’mon Alter, just clone this GK and I will throw money at you!

Zai: Luth was recently addicted to this game and it’d be nice to get at least one Muramasa figure since we don’t have any, as previously mentioned. The hair and umbrella on this character design would look particularly nice sculpted, especially if they did it like the garage kit.

Puzzle and Dragons: Princess Valkyrie and Heavenly Herald

Luth: Puzzle and Dragons seems to be the mobile game that’s everywhere in Japan so it makes sense that there will be figures of the various characters and monsters in it soon. Two of my favourite designs were the Princess Valkyrie and Heavenly Herald which are advanced versions of some of the classes. In fact, Ichiban Kuji already have a Princess Valkyrie, hurry up other figure manufacturers! My guess would be Megahouse, this seems like something in their ballpark. I’ve been playing the game recently and it’s pretty fun! It’s available for free for iOS and Android with an English version although for some reason it’s not in the Australian store, I had to sign on to my US account to get it.

Zai: I’ve only seen bits and pieces of the game from what Luth has played but these designs look very lovely. Wings, weapons and elaborate designs are right up my alley and would have no issues with adding something like this to our collection if a decent manufacturer produced a nice enough sculpt! Maybe I should play the game too..

Chaika Trabant from Hitsugi no Chaika

Chaika

Zai: Aquamarine have a Chaika figure in the works but it just doesn’t hit the spot for me, I’d love to see something a little more high quality and dynamic of this lovely little lady. If I’m lucky and another manufacturer do decide to do a decent Chaika figure then I hope they’d include her gun too! I don’t think she’d make for a bad looking Figma either.

Luth: I watched a little of the show over Zai’s shoulder and while I’m not much of a loli guy, giant sniper guns do it for me. Something about the eyes on that Aquamarine figure look pretty off compared to the anime, hopefully if someone does her they’ll get it right.

Escha Malier from Atelier Escha & Logy: Alchemists of the Dusk Sky

Escha

Zai: I’ve never actually played any of the Atelier games, instead I’ve sat by and watched as Luth plays them. Having said that, he’s not played Escha & Logy and the only experience I’ve had with it is from the recent anime adaption. Escha’s character design and upbeat personality really captured my heart though and I’d love to see it captured in figure form by a top tier manufacturer.

Luth: I’ve only really played some of the Arland arc of the Atelier games although the art and characters in the Twilight series look really pretty as well. Escha is no exception and hopefully the recent anime will be enough to grab the attention of a decent figure manufacturer. I was a bit disappointed in the Arland arc figures except for Megahouse’s Rorona.

Kancolle (Kantai Collection) was a huge thing among the GSC collective in the last Wonfes and judging by the exclusives and teasers, it seems they’ll continue to pump out figures of the characters so we took a look at the character designs to see what we would like to see.

Amatsukaze from Kantai Collection

Amatsukaze

Zai: So much Kancolle! I’ve never bothered to try and play it and I’m not sure I will but that doesn’t stop me from sitting back and drooling over the delicious character designs! Amatsukaze has caught my eye and I’d love to add a lovely figure of her to our figure collection. I’ve recently received the absolutely adorable Shimakaze Figma and would also love a Amatsukaze to go alongside her!

Luth: I’m going to take credit for introducing Amatsukaze to Zai, I was flipping through character designs and went ‘yup, this is a very Zai character’. I don’t mind her, I like her seaman (hur hur – Zai) inspired outfit and the cat ear hair thingy she’s got going. I think a figma would be preferable in my case she looks versatile enough for some fun pictures.

Bismarck from Kantai Collection

Bismarck

Zai: Why? Because I think her character design is sexy. I seem to have a thing for blondes lately. Someone make a figure of her already, please!

Luth: Busty blonde with lots of big guns? Yes please. If they made a figma of her, I think I would bite. Nagato is currently up for order and while she’s cool and has the big guns, the price turns me off. Bismarck’s design is a little more interesting so I think I would fork out for a figma in that case.

Kirishima from Kantai Collection

Kirishima

Luth: I like Kirishima’s design because the battleship outfit is cool and she’s got glasses! Unfortunately it looks like Ques Q is giving her a crack already. While Ques Q is decent tier, the shrinking display space in our collection and the high prices figure companies are asking of our wallets means I’ll probably have to pass. I wouldn’t mind a Max Factory scaled or figma though.

Zai: Poor Ques Q.. Luth hatin’ on them before even seeing the finish product, hehe. This design is alright and I like glasses as much as the next person (not biased at all, ahem) but I think I prefer Kongou’s design a little more than Kirishima’s design. A wonderful sculpt at a decent price might get me to bite though.

Atago from Kantai Collection

Atago

Luth: Atago is a cute, busty blonde, and has a cool design. There looks like a garage kit out there of her already, and yup she looks good in figure form. I’d personally prefer a scaled over a figma, busty figmas don’t really look that sexy compared to their scaled counterparts for me.

Zai: A very Luth figure, a cheerful, busty blonde with big boobs. I like her too though and think she would look very lovely as a PVC and agree that I don’t think she’d look too great as an action figure. Bring on the busty blondes!
